Born on 1991 in Madrid Spain, DJ Misty is one of Egypt’s youngest and most successful DJ’s to date. At the age of 6 Misty moved to Cairo and by the age of 9 began his music career. Inspired by the likes of Sasha, Daft Punk and BT, he began mixing at small parties and at local pubs and clubs around Egypt by the age of 12. As he grew, so did his music at the age of 18, Misty has played alongside DJ’s such as Roger Martinez, Chris Montana, Austin Leeds, Jay Lumen, Armand Van Helden, Sir Sinclair, Mr Sam, Kirsty Hawkshaw and has marked his international debut in the summer of 2008 in Dubai. In Egypt, Misty collaborates with top end event planners and playing, electronica and progressive and tech house. Furthermore, Misty has began producing a weekly podcast with over 1000 subscribers through uploading his famous ‘Legends are Born’ sets and live mixes from the appearances as well as to appearing as a guest mix on local and international radio shows. Hitting his debut for production, Misty’s first single with talented vocalist Farida El-Gueretly titled ‘Someone like you’ was a big hit in the dance scene both internationally and locally. With many other projects on the way Misty is definite to be one of the big names to be heard in the years to come.
